This art exhibition looks forward to more gender freedom and back critically at its restrictions. It celebrates a plenitude of gender variance as the alternative to the current, conventional and reductive gender binary model that is stifling free expression of appearance and behavior. This show challenges critics who regard gender diversity as a confusing jumble, and it features artwork with new gender models that can become an inexorable, powerful force that will sweep away the old conventional gender model. Agitator Gallery invites artists to present work to be reviewed & discussed by a group of your peers. These critique sessions meet on Wednesday evenings from 7-9pm. Up to 6 artists will display artworks to others who are invited to observe, analyze and participate in the discussion. Artists will have 15-20 minutes to introduce their work, answer questions and receive feedback. This is a great opportunity to workshop new ideas and get input as you develop existing or new pieces.
